dishonored is a game series by Arkane Studios and realeased by Bethesda! Its an action adventure with 3 installments! Dishonored (2012), Dishonored 2 (2016), Dishonored: Death Of The Outsider (2017). You play as someone whose been accused of murder and you can take down nobles and rich people to take back the throne.You also get to choose which way you go about it, either you can kill them directly or make them suffer a fate worse than death.
essentially the worldbuildings really good!! i dont think i have that much of a grip on what counts as "good worldbuilding" but its still really enjoyable to learn about the culture and people of the world! Everywhere feels like a real place you could have visited back in the 1800's its ALIVE and BREATHING!!!!!! its very nice ....
ALSO i really like the whole "play-your-way" thing they have going on! I love how they encourage finding different routes and solutions to things. really makes you think :D
though, sometimes it can prove confusing sometimes cause sometimes i dont have a clear sight of where im supposed to go lol, but it doesnt happen too often. also im quite unobservant so it's due to a skill issue a little bit haha
You could probably tell by the setup but my favorite part of dishonored 2 is the clockwork mansion! Its such a cool and creative concept and I absolutley love the conept of a shifting mansion!!!!
Though, my relationship with clockwork soldiers/sentinals could be described as a complicated marrige... I love how cool and intimidating they are. ! they really seem like a threat when you first encounter them
but i also hate how hard they are to kill. Cause then when your just fighting regular guards you get totally overwhelmed and die. Also you sorta get forced into stealth and while i dont completly hate it. Its quite tedious to make sure you go through entirley undetected...
Ive nearly played all of them! I discovered dishonored because its free on xbox gamepass and i had DOTO in my play later for like, ever. I also sorta ended up playing the games backwards... whoops....
as of writing this (8.20.22) im currently playing through the Knife of Dunwall DLC ! Daud is a funny guy and i love Billie... ! though its kinda funny for everyone to refer to corvo as a ruthless killer out for blood when you didnt even play him like that (at tops ive killed maybe 15 hostiles alltogether)
as of writing this (8.21.22) ive finished the knife of Dunwall! onto Brigimore Witches !!!! and now im thinking. Jesus, what am i supposed to do after ive finished dishonored as a whole???? i'll never be the same again! this is like madoka magica all over again but worse. ....
